## Overview

Morston (“the App”) is a tides and weather helper for Blakeney Harbour and nearby quays. It is provided free of charge, without warranty. The App is not intended for navigation.

## Data we collect

Morston does not require an account. We do not operate a server that stores your personal profile.

- **Optional location:** If you turn on Pit alerts, the App uses your device’s location to detect when you enter or leave a defined harbour area (Morston Creek, Blakeney Pit, Quay, and Bar). **Location is used only for optional harbour alerts and is not stored or shared by us.** Enter/exit detection and notification scheduling happen on your iPhone.

- **App preferences:** Settings such as harbour choice, tender timing, and units are stored locally on your device (and in the App Group shared with the home-screen widget).

- **Feedback:** If you email a suggestion, you choose what to send; we do not collect feedback automatically.

## Third-party services

To show forecasts and tides, the App requests data from third parties. Those services receive coordinates for your selected harbour (or fixed marine grid points), not a continuous track of your movement:

- **Apple WeatherKit** — weather forecasts (subject to Apple’s terms and privacy policy)

- **WorldTides** — tide times and heights

- **Holfuy** — live wind data from a harbour station

- **Open-Meteo** — marine wave and swell model data (DWD ICON Wave; see [open-meteo.com](https://open-meteo.com))

Each provider has its own privacy policy. Morston does not control how they process data.

## Notifications & calendar

- **Local notifications (optional):** Great Tides alerts, Pit high-tide alerts, etc. are scheduled on your device. No push notification server operated by us is required for these features.

- **Calendar (optional):** If you add events to your calendar, the App accesses the calendar only with your permission to create those entries.

## Location permission

You can use most of Morston without location access. If you enable Pit alerts, iOS will ask for location permission. “Always” is optional but helps detect harbour entry when the App is in the background. You can revoke permission or disable Pit alerts at any time in iOS Settings or in the App.

## Children

Morston is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

## Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above will change when we do. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.

Block'd is an offline puzzle game. We designed it to work without an account, without ads, and without collecting personal information.

The app saves a small amount of data locally on your device so it can remember your progress and preferences, including:

This information stays on your device. We do not receive it, and it is not sent to our servers.

You can reset your progress at any time in Settings → Reset Progress.

Internet use

Block'd works fully offline. The only time the app uses the internet is if you tap the Slow You Down Studios link in Settings, which opens our website in your browser (Safari). We do not track you through that link from within the app.

Slow You Down Studios (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates the mobile game Blakeney Pit Sailing (the “App”). This policy explains what information the App handles and how we use it.

We designed the App to collect as little data as possible. Most of your progress stays on your device.

3. Information stored on your device

The App saves preferences and game progress locally on your device using Apple’s standard storage (UserDefaults). This includes:

Game settings (rudder sensitivity, sound, haptics, minimap on/off)
Boat customisation (sail number, gunwale stripe colour, boat name, home port)
Campaign progress (stars earned, best times, completed levels)
Personal-best “ghost” replay data for time trials

This information is not sent to our servers. We do not operate our own user accounts or cloud save service for the App.

If you delete the App, this local data is removed with it (unless you restore from an device backup that includes it).

4. Apple Game Center

If you choose to use Race Online, leaderboards, or world-record time trials, the App uses Apple Game Center. That requires you to be signed in to Game Center on your device with your Apple ID.

Through Game Center, Apple may process:

Your Game Center display name and player identifier
Leaderboard scores (lap times on supported courses)
Multiplayer matchmaking and live race sync between players during an online race

We receive only what is needed for those features to work (for example, other players’ boat positions during a race). We do not receive your Apple ID email or password.

Apple’s handling of Game Center data is governed by Apple’s Privacy Policy. You can manage Game Center in your device Settings → Game Center.

5. Information we do not collect

The App does not:

Use analytics or advertising SDKs
Track you across other apps or websites
Collect precise location
Access your camera, microphone, photos, or contacts
Require you to create a Slow You Down Studios account

6. Children’s privacy

The App is suitable for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Game Center features are subject to Apple’s age and parental controls on the device.

If you believe a child has provided personal information to us through a channel we control, please contact us and we will address it.
